I guess owning a book makes you a terrorist

"Possessing" Information Can Now Brand You A Terrorist

So close to the police state. Were so close its making my heart palpitate to the point of imploding on itself. I know that we have to fight with our all. WE MUST FIGHT WITH ALL WE HAVE OR ELSE WERE GOING TO LOSE OUR RIGHTS! Our founding fathers wanted us to live free, speak free and easily, do what we wish (within reason) and yet were having the same values the founders of our country wanted stripped away from us! Am I a terrorist too since I not only own a copy of "The Anarchist Cookbook" but also a copy of "The Communist Manifesto" and I have been to numerous anti-war/bush protests. Does that make me a terrorist?! Well, does it?!?!
This has been a quick post brought to you by corporate hate.

I fear for the future...

Try not to be an alarmist...and put down that copy of 1984...it was the UK. They STILL think snooker is acceptable to watch on TV. According to Bush those things don't make you a terrorist...but they certainly make you un-Amrrrkin...is his time almost up??? I'm gonna miss him...

When Bush is gone the Daily Show will be forced out of business...cause you can't top the silly antics of this guy.

I see where your coming from, I admit I may have acted a bit too much like an alarmist. But to be honest I said that simply because of the domino effect it seems to be having here in the states. First it deems you as un-american, like you said, but then they will brand you an enemy combatant for being un-american should we (heaven forbid) enter a war with Iran.

Listen...the government is bad, yes. However, they're not THAT bad yet. If they ever get that bad there will be large scale revolt...and they know that. It'll happen automatically. We're not too apathetic to be pissed off. That's why they tow this line so delicately. They keep trying to see what they can get away with without the bells going off. But the bells are going off. Thanks in large part to a few responsible media outlets, they really aren't getting away with too much if you think about it. I personally could give a fuck if any of them call me unAmerican. We know who the true patriots are. I'm comfortable with that.

And...even the worst among the war mongers know that a war with Iran would be a disaster. It will never happen...at least not for some time. There won't be another war passed through congress without a lot of questions asked by those in capitol hill that acctually do their jobs. After Iraq...I know congress is skiddish about the war deal. They just got suckered by Karl Rove and his hand puppet. You gotta admit, on the onset they did a good job of scaring the shit out of everyone.

But I digress. At least the trash still gets picked up on Wednesdays...I think that we need to choose our battles. Our victories will be greater and more profound. That 6 foot thick steel wall that they've built around Washington is meant to keep you out. You can bang on it all day and all you'll end up with are bloody fists. They got the guns...remember? I think the key is to examine every inch of that wall with a magnifying glass, find a fracture and squeeze in. There was an Op Ivy lyric---

If we're scared of one another
Must be scared of ourself
More than just another crowd
We need a gathering instead

I think that sums it up

True, very true. You all bring up good points. But if one of the so called "warmongers" feels that WWIII is going to happen if Iran goes nuclear, then he must obviously WANT it to all be a disaster. I'm just throwing the idea out there.
